Sweetwater,
considered one of the finest bands on Long Island, was started by charter
member, Tommy, who is the lead male vocalist, as well as a guitarist. He is
accomplished in all types of music and is very good at reading the crowd. He
is fluent in Italian and is able to sing many types of ethnic music as well
as top 40, Sinatra, etc… Tommy is also the lead tenor with the famous
Hibernian Festival Singers that has traveled all over the world.
We have 7 fantastic
vocalists, 3 female and 4 male each with their own style, but then put them
together and they make beautiful harmony.
The good-looking guy playing
bass is our MC Peter. You might have heard his voice in radio commercials at
one time or another. He works closely with the bride and groom or party
planners to make sure everything is done to perfection. He’s the best.
We also have an amazing 3-4
piece horn section led by our saxophone extraordinaire, Tony Carfora.
Dianne plays the keyboards
and fills the sound of the band beautifully. She’s perfect at ceremonies
because she is classically trained. At cocktail hours everyone enjoys her
pop and jazz standards.
